Attention all members of the ECGN community!

We are in need of skilled staff members for the following position:

Server Support

To be qualified for this position you must have knowledge in Linux and/or Windows based server management and in the following games (just one will do, but we would prefer knowledge in multiple games!):

Half-Life and MODS
Return To Castle Wolfenstein/Enemy Territory
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault/Spearhead/Breakthrough
Quake III: Arena and MODS
Battlefield 1942 and MOD's/Expansion Packs
Jedi Knight II and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Raven Shield
Halo

When you say server support... do you mean someone who actually works on the servers? Or just someone administers to them?

Just asking for a little clarification on the duties this would entail...

We need staff to help server our customers better by providing support to fix problems they may have.

thats it..oo i thoguht there would be like 25-50 i thoguht there were people that jsut handle the server but don't post here..o wow, you guys are pretty good for being run by only 8 of you

offcourse im not in the possition to help you guys out with servers but just a question i see you guys alot working on the servers and posting and you spend a lot of time in the irc channel.

do you guys (looking at ryan and evan) have other jobs?

this would be one of my favorite hobby's but since i don't have the knowlege or the time to do this i can't.

you guys are great and i hope ill celebrate a couple of birthdays with you guys

grtz and great job on the servers and all the other things you guys do for the community.

just out of curiousity where can you learn these things are there manuals with server guidlines. if so where can i find them.
