The key hash might have stuck in the logs, we'll look into it.

my cd hash starts w/
ffb161

b.t.w. my bf pos ranking jumped from nowhere to 2295
since i changed my nick to Gladiator_1968 after i got banned from ecgn.. where i start to realized every game u played is being tracked by bftracks.net

since then i start playing more seriously and responsibly..
as of now, not many ECGN member's ranking is higher than me.. only NGame and Opt Prime beats me by couple of points...
really wanna see if my rankings would still go up once i start playing exclusively in ECGN once my ban is lifted...

Nah... just a badly broken server, just before the renewal of a service contract.

Gladiator, I can't see you in the Punkbuster logs, and you're not in the ban list. I've asked staff members to have a look. BF:V gives us a lot of headaches.

Thu Apr 29, 2004 3:48 am

Chacal, working on it. Read your ad post.

The hash Devil Dog posted in our admin forums is not in the banlist. Perhaps you typo'd again.

Do me a favor. Please download this program (click here), and run it. Type in your BF:V CD Key (No spaces, or -) and press 'Hash It.' Then, copy / paste the hash into this thread.

And don't worry. Your CD Key Hash is a standard MD5 checksum of your regular CD key. MD5's are non-reversiable. Posting the hash in these public forums is completely safe.
MD5 sums (see RFC 1321 - The MD5 Message-Digest Algorithm) are used as a one-way hash of data. Due to the nature of the formula used, it is impossible to reverse it. To find out what the source data was, one would traditionally attempt every single possible input value until they found the solution.

Once you've done this, I will remove the ban from the banlist myself.

cd hash from hfhaser is:

e8cacdde9550b90f23747b0e1dc2d356

that came from if i typed in all the chars in uppercase.
which indeed different from the one u obtained from game console assigned by punkbuster.. puzzled...

Thu Apr 29, 2004 3:51 pm

Give it a try now....

Hopefully I unbanned you from BFV

Thu Apr 29, 2004 4:20 pm

Er... you said in a PM you got that hash from game.listplayers. This command does not print the hash in BF:V, it works only in BF:1942. What you sent us is the Punkbuster GUID, which is quite different from the CD-Key hash. No wonder we couldn't find you in the banlist.
