Login times?
Dearest of ECGN Server users;
Greetings to all! I'm an old RTCW veteran who stopped playing about 3 - 4 years ago (well before the Master Server went down) and through many-a searches on the good old internoodle have stumbled across your allegiance.
It is currently 9:47PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (Unfortunately I don't think there ever will be a populated AUS RTCW Server, even back in the day I learned to play with 350+ ping) and would just like to know when the general populace of this forum hops on the server? I jumped on a little bit earlier (about an hour ago) and only M@$TER (or something of the like ) was spectating and no one else was online, so I destroyed myself some walls and blasted some info through the old school radio comms in a bid to wait for someone but alas it was a no go.
This is to be expected as our time zones are so out of whack, but I remember playing all day and all night on the good old Happy Penguin Classic server (if anyone remembers the old Depot games!!!) with Americans and Canadians. So I am just wondering what time you guys generally play, and if not every night, what days?? Can't wait to play some old school RTCW with some real people! (last time I attempted and the MS was online it was just servers of bots)
Thanks in advance for your responses, happy gaming!
P.S: if anyone has Xfire my user is Sudo1995. I'm mainly a Starcraft player, but do enjoy my classic fps!

Re: Login times?
Hi Sudo, the server is active every single day. I don't know australian time zone but for eastern time zone it gets populated from about noon (12pm) until about 11pm at night. Around 9pm~ish we migrate to OSP which seems to be the thing these days.
It's 11:01 AM eastern right now so in about an hour or two there will be a couple players online. I searched Australia time and it seems to be 2AM in Australia so yeah. Don't know if that helps as there are multiple time zones in Australia.
Hope you can join everyone on sometime soon

And to add to this...
I'm normally on from about 1:30 to 5:00 PM EST to change maps for a rotation.

I'm an east coast Aussie myself. ECGN is usually populated in the morning and tends to have a few players on until 4:30pm or so, much after that and it's basically dead for the day. You might also find a number of players on OSP servers from midday to 3pm-ish, but it's a hard slog to play OSP with 250 ping unless you're really keen
There are currently no active Aus servers in any version of rtcw and it's unlikely there ever will be again. There are servers that spring up with brief patches activity, but it happens about once a year and tends not to last more than a week
There is still a little life left in the Aus ET scene however, it's not the same but I find it's the closest substitute. OZ etpub is always active at night and it sounds like the type of server you're looking for, but if you're keen for something a tad more serious then etpro scrims are run every Sunday and most Tuesdays from 8pm onward, sometimes other nights too. Earlier rounds may tend to be played strictly between competitive teams, but if so it usually opens up to all after 2-3 maps
