Hah, well actually, technologically, I AM living in 2007! I don't have a cell phone (can't stand the telephone), and I just CAN'T bring myself to buying computer equipment. Except for things like mice and keyboards, which you need to just use the machine. I do so much research online that I use my machine more for that than gaming. So to upgrade just to game seems to me like I am just investing in ways to use up all the time in my life doing something that is great fun, but not really productive :)
However, IF another game like Wolf comes out, of course, I will build a new machine - natch, no-brainer, you betcha

Dirty bomb a bad game? Lol. That's why over 90% of my steam list is always people playing DB, must be bad. You're probably like euro and have a shit pc that can't run it properly, or you're using a default cfg that has everything on mid-high settings and you can't hit shit all because of clutter/input lag.

Plenty of configs out there that help with fps, clutter, input lag, etc. I use kroads, and I get around 100-150fps in game and up to 400fps in lobby(not that 400 fps in lobby matters).

You're also playing in public matches where either 1. People fuck around and just go for kills and say fuck obj or 2. People are new, and have no idea what to do so all they do is go for obj, and don't kill anyone.

Get level 5, get some buddies on steam and try a 5v5 comp match, it's really fun playing with people who are actually experienced.

Dirty bomb is actually fun. I've been getting more and more addicted to it. Stick with it and you will like it. It's hard at first since you feel it should be the same as RTCW but it isn't. It's very similar in a lot of ways. Only thing I don't like is the spawn times are like 23 seconds. So hard to calculate when to arty/nade enemy spawns.

As Tragic said, make sure you are not playing with full detail config or else it will run your pc hard and make game play less smooth. It doesn't matter if you have the best pc in the world you will not want all that extra clutter the game gives. You will want to remove all of it so its more looking like "rtcw" with its ugly graphics but better game play.
