Tried everything but still cant play

hi there , ive tried just about everything ive read about and still comes out im banned from server, sorry but im not really computer smart

i did the /pb_myguid and some numbers and letters came about (its a steam game)

when i open up the game and open console, i can read it says unable to set cl_guid ....no idea if thats important

thanks alot for any help, id really like to play with humans!!!! way more interesting

ok so deleted and reinstalled the pb, i am able to join other servers but still banned...

did the /seta cl_punkbuster 1 in console and nothing happened


any other clue_?

What's the output of your /pb_myguid command? (Without the cd-key...just the GUID)

how long is the cd key? so i can tell you the guid part

ok got it, it says the cd key than "an arrow" Guid=

next line says punkbuster installed and started correctly

Do you even have a cd-key? Have you verified it is entered correctly in the Options Menu?

There should be a file in the Main folder called 'rtcwkey'. If you open that file in Notepad it should be your cd-key without the last 2 digits.

couldnt find the folder with cd key, but in the /pb_myguid theres a message that says my cd key

There should be a file called 'rtcwkey' in the 'Main' folder. Same folder as the pk3 files.

ok so i typed the cd key that i found in the folder... go back to the game and can only see some of the servers.... s4ndmod and one other are the only ones with players
