Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

i am thinking of purhcasing a server, but before i do - i would like to know - on some servers they use a program to automatically input pre-defined text every X number of seconds.

Anyone know the name? or where i can obtain it from?

If it's RtCW you're talking about, it's Shrub; a server-side mod that requires no download from your clients.

ECGN will have that mod ready and available once you decide to go with them.

If you're talking about Half-Life servers, there are two choices.
