Happy Valentines Day !!! Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine.

I want to know what he did wrong to have suck a tacky useless, crap-peddaling, capitalist-whore day named after him...

Also comparing a christian saint with a Pagan god (Cupid), as seems to be the fashion on the ghastly pink cards and teddy bears that they vomit out every year, is pretty dumb. It's like saying 'To celebrate your faith, here's a false idol to venerate'...

I mean what in the name of all that's noodly is the bloody point?

Parrot you look too much into it.

All I know is:
Buy the wife/GF something nice
Spend some time with them
and for one day you may have a happy woman, if you don't:
Well, lets no go there this year...

It's a spam bot I think but there was nothing obviously harmful about it so it got left.

Even if it spreads joy all over the world, I deleted its account because it's probably doing a test run, seeing where it can post. Then it'll come back with spam.

You need to understand the mindset of the Catholic church. First, you find an offensive pagan festival that you seek to undermine. Second, associate a major holiday on your calendar with that pagan holiday. It can be just about anything...even the birth of your saviour (Christmas (if you believe Wikipedia, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas )) or his death (Easter - again, Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter )

That is how a celebration of St. Valentine became the commercialized Valentine's Day.

Hmm...Ive never seen Happy Birthday To Me, but this sounds really odd seeing that Lionsgate refuses to make a MBV3D sequel calling it a "fluke." I guess that Ill just never understand Hollywood executives.
