The Book of Eli

Postby jim.morrison » Sun Feb 14, 2010 12:19 am

Hi guys been a bit since I've seen anything in here and thought i would give a quick review/opinion on this movie.

First off felt our main man Denzel crushed his role as usual. He brings something to the table that keeps you interested. His character survives a type of nuclear war and he channels his mad max. I didn't see any previews for this movie and had no clue what it was about but was seriously impressed kept me on it at all times and enjoyed the action sequences.

He has a cpl fight scenes where he has to take on multiple ppl and these are very well choreographed and intense.

Gary Oldman holds the villain role yet again (I don't see him as a hero) he is your mayor/crime boss of a beautiful post-apocalyptic town. And he obviously ends up wanting Eli's book.

There's a minor twist at the end that I didn't see coming but wasn't looking for however was evident throughout. hmmmmm.

Recommend this movie anytime.

P.s. I do not recommend watching Man Thing (2005) a version of Swamp Thing. And I thank you ahead of time from refraining from your porn jokes.
