There is a server that a friend of mine admins, he's the cheif admin and I'm wondering if you could tell me how to ban someone via IP address, I have no Idea how to admin but my friend does so if you could tell me maybe? anything at all would be great, I dunno if he knows how to do it but this is to make sure because some prick keeps trying to crash the server or atleast mess it up. I appriciate any help I can get this is rather urgent. Thanks man.

Get the offenders IP via status, and /rcon addip (iphere)

If they have a dynamic IP replace an octet with a *, ie.

If the persons IP is 192.156.8.2 you /rcon addip 192.156.8.2, and if they come back /rcon addip 192.156.8.*

ok now the only deal is how do I obtain the offenders IP??
