General stupidity whine

Tonight on El Al, we had the East and North captured within 5 minutes of the beginning...then about 20 mins or so later we lose it, and instead of going to cap it back, every smacker would go off on their own point whoring spree. Now i'm not talking about people who actually did try to take it back, but it would seem it would be a futile attempt as every time someone goes and tries to take it back, they're usually alone...

At one point, we had three tanks, yes, three Shermans from main base head south to try to go on the ridge opposite of south and just sit their f%$$%ing stupid asses there shelling south to no effect... while armor was desperately needed at East...

One name stands out most and it was Sgt. Slaughter, I personally witnessed him twice go south to that ridge and getting blown up by air support, without even killing one enemy, yet he would keep doing it again for at least 4 times... The 5th time he tried climbing the mountain near the main Allied base to do what else, use the tank as artillery to shell East...wtf?? Is he on crack?? While he was climbing a 109 came and bomb his sorry ass into the ground, and guess what, for the 6th time he tried doing it again...but this time he fell and damaged his tank, so he hopped out to repair only to get shot up by two Panzers from East... what a smacktard!

There were two others who took a Sherman and M10 to do the same as well...while all we had on the ground going to east were Jeeps and APCs..and guess what, we got slaughtered each and everytime since their air and Panzers dominated East...

You think after a year or so these smackers would know that tanks aren't artillery!!! Christ nothing pisses me off more than idiots using vehicles for the total wrong purpose... (Wespe tank, Katyusha tank)

I couldn't stand it once our tickets dipped below the point of no return and just left...

I know what you mean Agent. It seems that I have had to just quit quite a bit lately. I just dont have the tolerance that I used to for people that just dont want to work as a team. Maybe its time for me to just take a break from BF for awhile and start with a new attitude when BFV comes out.

I know what you mean cracka... rather than deafen everyone on TS or force them to mute me to keep them from blowing their speakers, I've taken quite a few self-imposed breaks lately...

I don't know if it's people who got it for christmas, or lots of nvidia servers going down or what, but the amount of people lately who are just clueless on what to do is amazing...

At least with the new lack of chat lag, you can actually try to help them... most tell you to screw yourself, but it's worth a try...

Definitely looking forward to BFV, where it's a level playing field and we all have new stuff to learn

I think we're all getting a little bit of "cabin fever" with Battlefield. The game's been out now for about a year and a half and we all come on here every week playing the same 20 maps or so. We know them all inside and out. I think once BFV is out, we'll all be able to relax and reduce some of that stress.

Yeah, and I was terrified to try and help take east for fear that we would lose north, since it was taking everything we had there just to hold it (and some great air support from Mugzy when he could get airborne!). We must've had like 4-6 TS'rs at the north, along with a couple other non-TS'rs, and we were still struggling to keep it (nearly lost it twice to ONE infantry hiding in the friggin rocks....)

yall nubs should try out DC....with a few admins we keep the idiot level low and the game is totally different and much faster.

AnimalCracka and RuleofWrist I hope you guys can reconsider getting back on the server more frequently. I just went out and bought the Secret Weapons exp pack yesterday only because ecgn #1 had it in rotation. I don't want to deal with the clueless players either so please come back asap so that they don't fill up the void that you guys left.

Agent I completely understand your frustration about el al last night. I was the only tank for the axis at the south flag for a large part of the game (not at the end) and I know for a fact that any allied tanks that tried to attack us from below were easy prey for the 109s. I did kill 1 or 2 but only after they'd been weakened by bomb splash.

I think you guys had your best chances when you stormed the east flag with several tanks at once. If only you could have slipped some spitfires out without being spotted, they could have possibly gotten some nice altitude to better protect themselves and take out our tanks. I'll admit, if it wasn't for our air support there we would have easily been decimated by the allied tank attacks.

Yes Chacal, there probably were idiots in real war, but not 3/4 of the damn battalion. Most of the idiots were filtered out in boot camp or got killed right away and nobody had to worry about them again. Here they just respawn and continue to be clueless.

Exactly... Throughout a regular day for me, I don't utter one cursing word. (Except the drive to school/work, there are smacktards on the highways like you wouldn't believe!) When I come home and play BF, all hell breaks loose from my mouth...

Same thing happened with El Al last night with me, tuga and a couple others, we had atLEAST 8 plane campers, just tking having a good old time at the airfield, Tuga and I manage to take south, nobody defends, took it again, nobody defends, we made a third attempt and by that time we took it but the map was over.
