Why kicked this time?

At about 8:25 CST on the Inshallah Valley map. I was there about 3 minutes on the allies team. I laid some mines near a flag to kill enemy armor approaching the flag. An ally (who can see the mines) jumped in a hummer and ran over one. This was not a deliberate tk. Was it percieved as on purpose? I would hope I should get benifit of doubt on a solo tk with friendly fire on.

If a couple of guys ran over the mines, the TK bot probably got you. The bot can't distinguish between friendly and enemy mine kills, so it's not a huge issue you got kicked.

Just shrug it off and rethink bomb-placement since the 'tards won't be.

2nd time in a day or so. I think it's time you read the server rules, and no it wasn't me who kicked you.

Ping, and low score are 2 ways to automaticly be kicked off the server. just because your kicked dosent always mean an admin did it.

buliwyf - The person that kicked me the first time said he may have been trying to boot someone else. Since my actions that time were legal, I think that is what happened.

Rule 7: Multiple team kills will result in auto-kick. I am fairly sure 1 person hit the mines which gave me a -2. I think I read in another post that -6 gets an auto-kick. When he hit the mines I realised I probably could have placed them in a better spot (even though he could have avoided them). I did not lay any addition mines after the inncident because I wanted to avoid another tk.

I'm not trying to say I am blame free. Yes I made a mistake that resulted in 1 accidental tk. I just want to try to understand why I got kicked so that I can be a better team player.

Says on the log you were kicked for minus-score, which means the bot got you at -5. Don't worry.

I think with patch 1.4 and the new Friendly Mine Indicator the driver of the vehicle should have been changed with the TK and get the negative score and maybe kicked for beening

EA/Dice should change that .........
