Admin abuse?

i was bored and was reading through the "banned" posts and i noticed that lots of these fellows seem to blame their being banned on ( excuse my language) the admins being dicks...well..I just wanted to say that you guys ( the admins ) are doing a wonderful job! i have never played in a server as fun as this one..what keeps it fun?.. Tk'ers and spamers being kicked and banned..no one wants to enter their fav. server just to be shoot in the back of the head by a friendly..If anyone reading this has been banned or or happens to get banned after reading this remeber a few things,
1.The admin is most liekly right; If you know for a fact that the admin is not right..have proof before you go bad mouthing them
2.Don't spam the server..it'll only make things worse
3.When getting back in..don't take out your agression on team mates or verbaly abuse the admins
4.All else fails...Admit defeat...Give up.. find another server and wait out your days until yer allowed back in..unless of course you want a perma-ban
(okay i'm dun.. ):P

Agreed! The Admin's here do a great job.

It's complete chaos. Anarchy. One of the check-boxes on the admin selection form is 'Have you ever been institutionalized in a mental hospital? Yes__ No__ ' Be surprised how few 'yes's' there are for us to choose from.
And lets not forget power-tripping. An absolute must. For example, one of the questions that helps us detect a penchant, a flare, for megalomania is, "A blind man is walking by and accidentally taps your foot with his cane. Do you... A., Say hello so he knows you're there and move your feet or B., Scream in agony and call for police, subsequently charging the man for assault with a deadly weapon. If B., please proceed. If A., please accept a lolly in the foyea and have a nice day....
Seriously though, I'm glad to be part of the community at the Beach. Watching out for the smack-tards is my little way of giving back to that community.

Most admins are doing a very well job, but some new admins are only specing and baning people, I don't see them playing anymore. 
And admins who are skulled and use !putteam their_name 1/2 aren't fair. Or if somebody tk's an admin, they get a ban for 999999 seconds, if somebody tk's a peon or regular they just get kicked or baned for 999 seconds.
But most admins are very fair, nothing to complain about.

Who is Doing This?:mad: the only time i see putteam is putting a tard into spec.

A while ago, I've seen more than one occasion of an admin in spec using !putteam on themselves so they could join an already stacked axis team, with both talent and number advantages.
I think this poll should have an inbetween vote...like "admins do an OK job usually, but sometimes have stupid powertrips". That option would have my vote.

Oh I thought I was the only one that see that, and normally his tk is the first in a while and probably not on purpose.

Yeah I don't do alot of playing in peak time anymore cos my ping pretty much sucks and I feel I'd be more useful keeping an eye on things. As for putteam I use that as well but only to put myself in spec (!Putteam parrot s, you've probably seen it often as I have it bound), never on to a specific team. If I skull (very very rarely) I'll probably join specs but I don't rejoin the team untill the next round and then only if there is space (otherwise I'll join the other team). The only time I leave and rejoin a team in the same round is to check out a player if I have had a complaint about him and that's because I don't like to ban unless I've seen it first hand.

If someone tks me deliberatly they'll get the standard ban of 9999, no longer unless they've been banned for the same thing before in which case I'll probably make it a bit longer. The reason you get a ban so fast for deliberately tk'ing an admin is that he doesn't have to wait for confirmation he alrady has the first hand proof.

And what are you basing this on...? Just because you've never seen it, it doesn't happen?
Actually, the term 'historical truth' actually fits quite well...because it did happen multiple times, but several months ago. So it is historical...in the past. Not something that happens consistently, or anything I have noticed recently (its also been quite a while since I've played on ecgn much though). But I brought it up because Shipwreck said he only saw admins using !putteam for retards, but I've seen contrary.
