Connection Problems

Since it seems that some people cant find the servers in their browser list....here is the info on how to connect to them. I can see them fine from my window, so I dont know if its your filter settings or what. Anyway....

To connect to the REGULAR Beach server, type this in your console:

/connect 205.177.13.42:27960



To connect to the FUN Beach server, type this in your console:

/connect 205.177.13.42:27961

Maybe the sysadmins would like to make/mark this thread as important/sticky since there seems to be a number of people who are having problems in seeing the server(s)?

yea that would be better , i have to type the ip in the console each time i want to join , that aint much fun

I'm probably stating the obvious but might like to mention that the reason I couldn't see OC48 on the RTCW server list was because I filtered OUT servers with Punkbuster disabled/off. OC48 servers have recently switched OFF Punkbuster which was why it was being filtered out; once I switched Punkbuster filtering to "Both", OC48 servers will be displayed again.

Of course, those who use all seeing eye or some other utility might not be affected.
