To: "THE OC48GAMING POWERS THAT BE"
Dear revered and feared sirs,
As of late, there has been much talk about the coming of an "AIRSTRIKE LIMIT". I would hope that you could inform the gaming community and either confirm or deny these rumors.
The public awaits your response.

In response, I don't care. I've spoken out proposing this many times, but when I joined the {AsB}, I had to live up to my name.
Long Live the Air Strike Bitches!!! (If there were no air strikes, there would be no Air Strike Bitches)

Soon we will be implimenting a system that should reduce the airstrikes from 33-40%

OMG!!! NO KIDDING? How will that work?

Im a big fan of limiting airstrikes , it will create more gun battles and bring out real assault skills. Moreover the more time shooting and less time bieng hamburger. A firefight 10 men strong in the basement seems few and far between lately. It could be well to give Luits one airstrike per live lived. That way the refreh rate can be put back up and Luits wont be so stingy handing out ammo.

I like it the way it is. There are many things to do besides airstrikes... and many ways to avoid them. Fighting fire with fire is one way... good allied air cover really helps... I know on axis, sometimes I can't even get out the radio room door for all the strikes and artillery... but, turnabout is fairplay... I think there is good balance right now

Ospery brings a great point to the table about lts recharge rates having to be stingy to reduce the number of airstrikes. I like the idea of reducing the allowable airstrike to 1 per death (although that seems to be all I can get off when I'm an LT anyway).
I would reduce the damage inflicted by an airstrike. Make it kill someone who is within like 5 feet from canister and at max reduce someone's life by 80 if you're within the blast radius. That would make it more manageable but still powerful.

Anothe thought is this --> Does anyone realize how relatively easy it is to block an airstrike?
Chances are, if you're in the trenches and you see a canister bounce down next to you, you won't make it to cover unless you're right next to a door. So why not just turn around and sit on that thing until you get the message of victory. Nothing feels better than realizing you just saved your ass from becoming mince meat, saved a few of your buddies' asses, AND deprived some LT off a few splatterhouse kills. Love it.
