ET Vs RTCW

I have both RTCW and ET... but of course I doubt anyone has ever seen me on ET..

I just can't adjust to it. Everytime I play it... it is just too much of a change from RTCW. The voices are kinda scary... The faces are strange... But it looks really good.

So what do you guys prefer... RTCW or ET? And how long did it take to adjust?

P.S. - Sorry if there's been a post like this already, hehe I'm new to the forums

man i (L) RTCW and its n1 game but ET is also cool (only graphics bit shitty and voices are gay..) But i own it so its cool:P

I had say Wolf...but I'd like to play ET(i have a mac..no ET for mac)

I was really hoping ET would be good, because I needed a new game. But I found ET to be really annoying to play, I just didnt like the gameplay. Im no expert in what the specific gameplay property that ET is deficient in, but I know for sure that it is not as good as RTCW. So I play RTCW.

ET emphasizes teamplay much more than RTCW does.
ET also has better graphics than RTCW does. I like the scoring system much better in ET than in Rtcw.
I play ET just as good(maybe even better) as I did in RTCW.


So after saying that, I will conclude by saying that ET is a much better game than RTCW, even though RTCW rocked.

So if the graphics are better in ET what system do they say to run it on?

I like ET but they need more maps. They also need to make more maps where the axis have an objective like railgun.

i like et but when i play the servers always crashed so i stoped...... did they ever fix that?

If ET had Beach and Sub I would play ET more often.

yep they released a server side patch to fix that a long time ago.



And as far as maps go, there are custom maps being made and released now. You might want to check them out. I really havent had time to do so myself yet.

Rtcw is my #1 choice. I play et every now and then, but...everything changed too much for me. Strafing feels weird, movement and shooting is different. Knifes seem to stab u twice anywhere and you're dead, lag everywhere, crappy fps....low bright restrictions:(:(:(:( garands and these gay grenade guns that engineers have. The sniper doesn't have that same "sniper" effect, no one uses a sniper. Scouts are somewhat okay. Some objectives seem stupid, such as walking along a truck to take it back to base?:S:S They need to stay old school!!!! You get the docs and take them to a destination, and you blow something up. Oasis is cool like that, but I don't like the one wher you walk by this tank the whole time.
I personally thought the game would have been a lot better than it was. But that's just my opinion. Long live rtcw:D I think both games acquire the same amount of teamwork, just the strats seem a little corny on et:S
