hehe you gotta love the Media..

Given that all manufacturing-related challenges - including that of the lithography -can be resolved, the new development would make nonvolatile memory chips with a capacity of 32 Gigabit possible within a few years.


Given that we can do the impossible we should be able to write a million zillion gigabits of data onto a rat's ass in a few years..

Wohoo!

Still a cool development tho :P

yeah, the biggies are supposed to be strained silicon processors, but its always the little things like cooling the bacon fryers. I guess some dood or doodette came up with cooling processors with plasma, intel seems to have a big prob with cooling, while amd to a lesser extent. One engineer was quoted saying "sure we can make a bigger heat sink but the noise would be a problem"...eheheheh its always something eh....
