You could try copying the rtcwkey file over from your main file but I'm not sure it will work. If I remember right the last few digits of the key are hashed out so it might not travel.

If you have access to your old drive, yeah...just copy the 'rtcwkey' file over to your new Main folder. That's all you need to do.
I can't play RTCW anywhere other than at my home base in NY because I don't even have the install CD anymore and none of the stores have a copy. I don't mind paying for another copy. I miss playing while not in NY. I guess the only solution is to ghost my hard drive ? but then it's gonna detect all new hardware and really screw things up LOL. When is RTCW2 coming out ? I want to kick your asses every single day, especially GoWhiteSox for removing my photos. Bye bye. I love all you guys. Peace and happiness.

It's impossible for the admins to get your cdkey from you pb guid as they'd have to reverse engineer it and if that were possible, people would be stealing each others cdkeys.
when you copy the file over from your old hard drive open it up and check the last 2 digits as sometimes it will ask you to put these in! you wont be able to connect if you dont confirm these!
also on a note about someone getting your cd key, it is possible to reverse engineer the cd key but the guid that is available to the public is only part of the hashed key! the only people i beleive who have access to the full hash is punkbuster or id software! also depending on what algorithm they used to encrypt the cd key it would take a long time to decode! the 18 digit cd key would probably take a year or two to decode! if not more with a normal pc!

Don't confuse him. All you need is that 'rtcwkey' file. The last 2 digits of the key don't need to be inside it.
