Wtf
Little story for all you wolfie fans out there. I come in from working and fancy a bash on RTCW, i decide to visit my new favourite server, guess which one. I get on but discover lag, so decide to spectate till it passes. Suddenly i come across this name called S.S Iceman41 (you may have heard of him!!!). Since never having the oppurtunity to play against/with him, i thought it would be interesting to spec. him. Anyway I am watching him, and he is going thrlough a bad patch with him appearing to be the visctim of every air strike thrown. Anyway a mixture of tiredness, and alcohol (I work in a pub), makes me comment on his standard, also he was at the top of the table and i thought i would knock him down a peg or two! Anyway suddenly i am getting shouted at about everyting including............. Roasty you are from the UK and should be proud of where you are from. WTF. Anyway this is an apology for any offence i have caused anyone or anything. But seriously lads what the harm is there in a bit of banter between players.
After all without a verbal war there wouldn't be a physical war. think about it kids.

Sorry Roasty, took it the wrong way. It can be frustrating when you are getting blown to pieces coming out of bunker. Not to mention the fact that I had just put up 2 250+ point games (when you said that I was in the midst of third straight points lead), I kinda thought you were just shining me a little.... but in a server with so many that I play with so often.... I thought it a bit disrespectful. I really didnt know what to make of it until everyone came to my defense, then I thought you were bashing me. I am really glad you took the time to post this here. Cleared things up and I appreciate it.
Regards, S.S. Iceman41

Roasty, I was there and you didn't just knock him down a peg or two, it was more like 500 pegs!!
What you said was more than rude, if you said something like "I am spectating Iceman and the poor dude is going throw a bad time", then yes that's fair enough. No harm in that.....but you said something along the lines of " I am spectating Iceman and he is a F**KI*G S*IT player" which hopefully you will agree is totally uncalled for. And besides if the guy was playing badly which would be slightly impossible as he was top of the score board but if he was, he cannot be expected to play perfectly 100% of the time, nor can anyone else for that matter.
Yes I agree a bit of fun goes down well and adds enjoyment to the game, but I don't think what you said was particulalry funny. And I know Iceman didn't find it funny.
And about the "British thing" I said "Don't give the British a bad name". Being a fellow Britishperson like yourself, I was very embarrassed with your outbust. I admit I probably went a bit far on that one, but I was steaming too. You see, the man that you insulted happens to be a very good friend of mine.
Think for a moment how you would feel if somebody said what you said about Iceman to you......Not very nice is it really?????
Roasty, fair enough you have done the manly thing and apologised, but all I am going to say is that if you want lots of enjoyment on Wolfenstein, then half the fun of it is in the making of new friends, but If you continue with your little outbursts I think you may put that in jeopardy for yourself.
I end here with regards,
Giggles.

Funny thing is.... I wasnt playing poorly when he said that, I mean.... I REALLY WASN'T! We all know when we aren't at our best, not letting the game come to us. That night I wasn't on the very top of my game, but by no means was I "shit". That is what he said, by the way. "I'm specing Iceman and he is shit". I wasn't by any means in ass kicking form,.... but I was making my presence felt. Maybe he didn't spec for long, maybe he had too much to drink at work. Maybe it was a case of "avoiding prison love"..... you know, get in a fight with the biggest guy in jail so you don't have to take it up the azz.
NO I'VE NEVER BEEN IN JAIL!
WAR I'M STILL HAVING A BAD WEEK
WAR CAN WE ALL GET OFF ICEMAN NOW
WAR GIVIN ME BACK MY NAME
signed, me.... no not [me]..... BUT ME.
