Not quite the group to ask this type of questions to. Most have spent little to no time off of the 24 hour beach shrub server, so you're just going to end up getting answers like 'Twitch', and 'Boo7y'. And the fact that ecgn has a less-than-desirable registration quality makes evaluating a shot a little shitty. You don't want our shots registering like the old OSP server did. Trust me.

To answer you're questions about rem: Yes, several people do know him personally. He actually lived with SnipeTX for a quick minute and has met Dynosaur also. Played in front of both. Been to qcon.
And yes, Lao and Star are correct about Remedy being set up. It was easily proven that it wasn't him, which is why a league suspention lasted, oh, about 1 day.
