I haven't replied to these threads lately, b/c they are ridiculous now...with clans all "amazingly" sharing the same idea, about a particular person...or should i say just following leader....anyhow...as i remember...this was supposed to be a disagreement or conversation between a couple people...not a bashing on a person or how they are.
In earlier posts, I tried noting these attacks...but I was quickly pointed out that I interpreted wrong.
And then....here comes the rest of the s.s. crew with their FOLLOW the leader. Yet they contradict each other posts:| Anyhow...
Then here comes Zog again.
Ahh, and i'm sure we found the solution....it's keek's long lasting passion to join s.s. Thank you for fanning this flame war.
As I see, alot you S.S. are not interested in finding a solution...you just are ones to flame on and on...until there is nothing to flame. I love your scholarly look on solving solutions. What I see is somebody trying to make a game more fun...over a Silly THING OF LIMITING PANZERS...to a group of people RIDICULING AND BASHING on him as a person.

not all s.s. this has nothing to do with me in fact i tried to stop it. just because i have a tag on doesnt mean i agree with everything a member says. this is nothing torward u mike, i'm just stating. i'm the kind of guy who speaks his my mind. which if theres anything in there to speak of. i'll run down the block nekkid that shit doesnt bother me the only thing that bothers me, is that i expect the same treatment from everyone else, that i give to them. simple code to live by i think.. an i appoligize for my previous comment

The only reason panzers were put in this game was the Quake rocket mentality. We all know this is a different game. If panzers were gone you wouldnt even notice.
2 panzers was perfect cause if more were needed some meds or lts would pick them up. 3 is almost back to business as usual
what do you expect about a game developed by the quake 3 engine, supervised by ID software?.
If more were needed, a medic or or even the Lt do not have it easy to fire it, since you have to get the recharge bar full ¿ how many Lts do you know that have it full?) and it doesnt get fired most of the time.
Currently the admins are doing a fabulous job at keeping the faust-blockers down. I was accused a few weeks ago of making too many admins. I made them because we have so many blockers. A lot of those admins approached me precisely because there are so many blockers and there arn't enough admins around to handle it. Probably 90% of door blockers are faust users. Anyone can do the math. It isn't hard.
If anyone complain about you were doing too many admins doesnt realize that it is better than doing nothing, this doesnt mean this is the best choice butat least one , two, three of them keep kicking, slaping.... dealing with thoses blockers.
Of course 90 percent of the blockers are faust players, though there is always the last retard that even use his pistol to try to hunt down an axis spotted on the upper bunker, venoms players, mauser, thompson...... because of the damage you can do with the panzer why bothering to run across the trenches and risk my neck when I can fire from there with this. then increase the damage taken with the SMG and you have more retarded players there firing.
I don't think it was so much about how many admins but the quality of the admins. Some of the players who are admins right now should have never been made admins. Some of them do not do anything or barely play on the server enough to be a proper and respected admin.
Though I have been out these last weeks and since you dont say any particular name, SOME is not the best suitable word to refer very low number of admins that deserve ir not being and admin, I have been playing on this server all the summer too many hours per day I can say that admins do their best to keep the game smooth and if it is not me, then it is another admin who keep those blockers, noobs in the line making a schedule that is why some admin are not doing nothing on that moment but 2 or three yes..
but when I am alone at the server as an admin I am playing and keep an eye on those people making the game smooth.
so it is a about the NUMBER and the QUALITY of the admins
PS: if you guys think that limiting all specific weapons excepting SMG to make any challenge in the battle you still havent found the funny and interesting side of this mod have.
You dont know how much I get scared when I still hears the Beeep before the panzer is fired and the sound ... clink clink when a grenade is droped below my shoes and jump out the chair when being panzered so suddently:eek:

I typed "Good players won't bother posting here" in a moment of frustration and anger--and I wanted to anger people to actually type something.
Too often these threads are taken over by people who jabber on destructively and get supported by like-minded patriots.
It's unfortunate that with so many people playing at the Beach so few take pause to invest in here what they think and believe in.
Part of why I take the time to write here is to ensure that no clique can bully others into submission. It's been heartening to see some thoughtful, independant minds provide coherant points in an articulate fashion.

I can see Mike's the type of guy who, even after we've talked on TeamSpeak, had a good time and supposedly yukked things up together...harbors ill-feelings towards me.
And apparently, he feels it's fine to lump those feelings towards everyone in the S.S.
People here seem to think they can peg someone or some group even if they've never talked to them. The S.S. guys (and gals) all have talked to each other, all know each other pretty well and have all gotten to know each other beyond the game.
This is solely about the game to people like Mike, and Keek. They would much rather gather together and hurl venom at people who they don't know or don't agree with.
People like the members of the S.S. clan have become real people to me, not just strings of often mis-understood text on a game screen.
Mike, I'm truly sorry you turned into the punk I initially thought you were. I actually enjoyed talking with you while we played on different servers.
Keek, I've never really agreed with much of what you said, yet I supported you in your climb up the admin ladder. Now that you have your gang of followers, and your loyal band of Keekophites, I hope you enjoy lumping the rest of the people you meet into your melodramatic groups.
Other people grow and move on. They make new friends, experience new things...open their eyes to new ideas.

guys, guys get ur info straight. I was the first one to post a sarcastic remark in both this thread and the "beach adopts a 2 panzer limit" threads. so if anyone is following anyone its ME they are agreeing with

now on a serious tip Zog was one of the last S.S. that continued to play on the beach after most of us left to pursue E.T. Many of us already thought beached sucked cause of all the limits and such. rememeber we were there LONG before any of the new regulars , and we were the folks that asked ONLY for a airstrike limit , and now i see that was a mistake. all it did was give people a reason to whine and get all these limits and charge bars and whatever . I still go to the beach , while im waiting for campaigns to restart. sometimes its playable sometimes the mess of 64 players is to much for my Zogwashed brain to handle. Its funny to see how much people analyze the gameplay and DYNAMICS so much on a 64 man beach server HMMMM I'm thinking these people dont even have fun on the damn server anymore , since its more of a job than anything else. Good Evening all, its been some time sice I have spoken here or played on the server. Many here should recognize me and trust the words Im about to say. I will make this brief and Im hoping it will end this argument.
I played on this server since its inception. Thanksgiving 2001. "Mother Fucking Beach" . During that time the following happened.
1) The server was absolute carnage, and quite possibly the best breeding ground of the finest players today. The carnage is what made such an simple task as taking some TPS reports up to a radio room an absolute impossibility. Achieving this feat was not only glorified but special in ways many here forget.
2) The people in the first generation are quite simply family to me. Regardless of clan status, they are some of the finest people on this planet. The second generation, which began to experience the begining of changes is also very dear to my heart. The greatness of the server was never about a 10 kill panzer shot. It was about the great cast of characters I played online with every night.Again people here are off base.
3) Keek and I were graciously appointed as Admin by Zog at the birth of the second generation ( When S.S. and other clans left and the begining of ASB NNC clans) . I missed my greatest rivals the S.S. and other clans, however this new generation was just as good with the gun work and friendships. Guys like Aimhigh and the rest were truly great mates and bieng an Admin never seemed like work and I dedicated myself to give something back that has given me much joy, for free none the less.
4) While bieng an Admin, I even made the case for more gun play and less airstrikes. We did it and what I found was simple ..I was wrong. The server within one new config completely changed what I had known for almost 2 years. I had been there with Keek hour after hour ( Albiet Keek doesnt sleep) and I know the Admining the server can be work.
5) Factor in changes on the Server,most of the 2 generation gone, Enemy Territory and joining the S.S. ( Yes, Mr Anti Clan decided to make the leap into something new) I left the server. I know this to be true and If anyone remembers me they know my word counts.
Keek you are quitw possibly the biggest jerk I have ever met. While you were abusing your priviliedges banning every singe noob you saw or pushing your wieght around you are one of the biggest reasons the server never saw a great 3rd generation. As an Admin you have the great responsibility of dictating the direction on where the gameplay should go. I do not believe you were ever part of the original group that gave 24-7 beach the great name it once had. The beach was a mangled carnage fest that produced great players. it was hard. The hard is what made it great. Especially when you are a anti clan player going at it alone.
The Beach was born from fire, lots of it, and it can only see a re-birth by goomba'ing itself back into it.
Coincidently, the people in the S.S. are some of the greatest people I have ever met. They are really like family at this point. Having been one of of there biggest "gameplay" nemisis I can tell you there are very fair and very respective to the community. I would not be a part of this group if they didnt make those values concrete in their beliefs.
Boc, put the server the way it was and breed a new generation of great players. You have given so much to the community and I believe i my heart of hearts you can do it again.

Yeah I've heard some horror stories from people I believe about keek and how he just basically acts like its his server, and he built it with his own two hands and its sitting next to him running off his bandwidth. A terrible misconception. He even kicked me once for having my name a little different then normal, attacked me saying "I almost thought you were Tool" right before he did it. and I mean he was a total asshole. Even though the whole time it was me. lol. Nice shot pal. Those are the reasons I sayed as far away from keek as possible, I didn't want to be swept up into some cheezy sitcom life of a guy who says "Look at me, I'm an admin on a free server, and I have my NOSE IN THE AIR" Its ok though, I'm not mad, these things don't affect any change in me, they only stain you.

:: Problem :: I post where I damn well please, and I post my own oppinion. If it contradicts someone elses post, thats great, that proves right there we don't follow the leader, because if we did, we'dd all just post about how we agreed with the "leader" over and over.
