So if you want to get a leg up on RTCW2 I highly suggest playing ET. I hear ECGN has there own ET server as do we of course and I garantee you will enjoy ET much more than RTCW.
Almost all the original RTCW maps have been ported over with the exception of Depot. Man I miss that penguin server from back when. But get with the ECGN heads or head on to our server to experience it for yourselves.
Where did you get this information? ET was by far the worst progression from RtCW ever. From XP to the horrible hitboxes on proned players makes this game the worst:-\ Good thing it is free or hardly anyone would be playing it. Where did you hear that RtCW 2 will be more like ET? ET is a retarded version of RtCW. And it's funny how all these maps are ported over from RtCW because ET's maps suck so bad:-\. Frostbite's now a custom map for competitive play for ET, and base?

Well Mike it is true that no one in the public has any clue as to what RTCW 2 will have, with the exception of Doom 3 engine being ported over.
The fact of the matter is ET is the only progression from RTCW. Just because the hit box on a prone player sits on the shoulder does not make it a bad game. Secondly what I was reffering to homey is the XP and classes portion of the game.
I don't think it too much of a stretch to think that Splash damage will keep that system in place. Many people find it revolutionary in the MP scene. Not only are people working for an objective but also themsleves. Splash Damage was happier than shit to promote this new aspect in ET.
Now in regards to shooting hit boxes and strafe jumping, who knows? With the engine powering the game being Doom 3 its anyones quess what they will do. I can tell you this, if the game pace is as slow as Doom 3 people will be upset.
For a free game ET is a very popular game in the MP industry. Just because some people didnt make the move does not mean its crap. But to his, his own.
