I don't really care if ff is on or off because I've been playing with ff on for so long that I play the same way at any server. I don't become reckless just because ff is off. Although ff off could be used as a tactic if one wanted to but I prefer the game being as close to real life as posssible.

One thing is for sure though, ff off puts an end to a lot of the whining bullshit.

Yeah but you gotta wonder if all of the team killing machines on ECGN came from no ff servers in the past. Either they developed some really bad habits they can't break or they really are retarded. Most of it is just basic common sense stuff that has nothing to do with skill level either.

I agree Depot is one of the best.

Likethat, 'kick' is good until you're a panz waiting to recharge in the ducts and some asshole kicks you out of the ducts too soon.
Too many dipshits to have kick on imo. It almost always results in a fight between the kicker and kickee.
AFK's blocking a door should be shot out of the way though.

It would be nice to shoot the enemies dyno to make it explode.
As for landmines, they suck in everyway possible.

Not possible; you either fuck with the settings enough to throw off the structure of the entire server (for those who came here after 1.33 died thanks go BaD Command and his queer fucking badmod, you know this too well), or you make the gaming experience so far off from what people are accustomed to, you lose interest in the server. Overseas players have learned quite well over the years how to accommodate from the distance they are from the server. Spreading a server only so thin fucks it up for everyone.

HP surpasses the definition of noob. They kick/ban people for doing the map objective. They kick people who get high kill counts because they think they are hacking. Also, no FF is like bowling with lane guards or riding a bike with training wheels.

Glad it mostly died off

it's crazy that so many people played there though, when the server used to be full all the time i remember getting some serious fucking kills awhile back.

Ding, you obviously don't know what you're talking about. As one of the admins on HPC, we do NOT kick peeps for doing the objectives. We also do NOT kick people for high kill counts unless we have GOOD REASON to believe they're cheating. As far as no FF, I'll say it again. It's not fair to have FF on when you have people from overseas playing who have pings 3x that of those playing from the states or Canada

There are no actively populated MAIN RTCW servers left. So its just what ever mod some people like to play.
