While we're on this topic....an unrelated theme How the heck do I get Enemy Territory without being way-laid by some third-party sheisters like File Planet?

God I miss the days of the early net when all you needed was a phd in advanced speculative quantum mechanics with a doctorate in theoretical computer applications to download things for free.

Somebody already gave me the rtcw link--and they automatically make you go through File Planet to get raped.
Any suggestions?

i'm still trying to recover from a crippling cpu crash- complete w/ rundll errors and probably a lost HD
