Clan War GFU vs SS

It Appears to me that we all had fun!! (thanks to all) and a special thanks to the Guys that run OC48!!!!!! and ZOG for setting it all up.....

Update:

According to Elite, our founder, he wants to do this again !!!!.
Zog has a nice small server that we could pratice on, if thats ok with him.

Edogg I'm not suggesting u to be a boss, but really a manager. Your one of the best players and I put your name there because you deserve it. If you dont want too thats fine, Im sure 2 others will, just think it will organize us for matches. Didnt mean to put u in a spot that makes u uncomfortable. stop bein so modest:D

dont worry bukkake you didnt put me in an uncomfortable position, i just choose not to be in any type of leadership role in the clan. Id rather be a grunt, or a peon so to speak.

well guys, i think everything and everyone did great.. i loved it..it was the first "unofficial" match for OC48, and i think that OC48 should try to start a league...there are many clans involved in OC48, and they all want to be a part of it..as a rep of {GFU}, i would like to say thanks guys...admins, you rock...S.S. , you rock too...glad that we could become allies...cant wait to se you guys again when i get back from iraq..good luck to all, and i will be here for a little while..i dont know how long, but if im here, i will play OC48, and i will play beside S.S., and i will be {GFU}.....good night all....

we tried both ways, well, when I had the docs that is, I think I got them twice and I tried short but got caught both times when dogg had them , he went long and ice got them near the radio room...

don't mean to sound dumb, but what exactly is a ladder match or whatever they call it...???

A ladder is a league where you have many clans and they are all ranked 1 to whatever; with 1 being the best clan in the league. You have wars by challenging (or being challenged) teams that are ranked higher than you. If, for exampe, you're ranked #15 and you challenge and defeat the #10 clan, you would move up to #10 in the rankings.

Only 8, with the admin its 9 but hey 4 on 4 is a blast, alot harder but fun....

Yeah, smaller numbers make the game a lot more difficult. I play with GFU in the 5v5 ladder. Making strategy with only 5 people is challenging. Made all the harder by the 40 second spawn times. After playing so much on OC48, it took me a while to get used to the different way of fighting in a league.

I didn't notice until the end of the second round last night that we weren't using the usual 40sec spawn times but were using 10sec. I spent the entire beach round using a 40sec tactic--panzers! I was so mad at myself when I realized my oversight. Panzers are useless in a game with a short respawn but critical in a league game. Sigh... It's hard going through life when you're an idiot...

40 sec spwan times would kill the doggster i ll admit that.

Sorry I've missed most of this thread...I have a million things going on.

My server, Valley of the Sachmo, can currently handle 10-12 players, but the DSL is not configured propeley. The router COVAD sent me has the wrong settings, so I'm getting a lot of lag and ocassional drops in connectivity, but when it's all settled I'm hoping to handle 16 players.

I'd love to host a few matches, with some good clans. I don't want to bother challenging or playing a bunch of shit-bum wise-asses. I'd gladly play GFU again. They're a class act all the way through.

I want to talk to as many SS guys as I can. We have to pare out our roster, get some sub-bosses ready and generally prune the SS tree to fighting form. This doesn't mean heaving established members, but there are a few guys who haven't shown up in months.

One long and one short. Tha and Dogg did great job blocking on the short one. There was no way we were going to be denied there. Lazer did a great job on panzer all game, also. I think he answered panzer good/bad question when in hands of experienced player.
