Skint - Broke. No money.

That's silly. Do you think we have national strategy to feel special and measure things differently? Yeah, we all attend a huge meeting, everyone in the US shows up, and we decide how we are going to be different.

Does a person from one part of a country have a different accent than a person from a different part of the same country because they need to feel special?

Or is this what happens when populations are seperated and gradually become different from each other.
