Just to seperate these thoughts, if its not about winning or losing its how you play the game, then this would be one of my main points, we all play the game with complete differences in the ideas of why were playing, and we are not all playing for fun. I'm not worried about losing because I've lost before, not to mention I've been playing in real competitions lately, so my willingness to except defeat and good games has expanded dramatically, but I don't think runing around like a dope with a pistol that doesn't hurt will be any fun. I'm sorry guys, just been there, done that, for over 2 years. I can't believe you all still play RTCW. you need a system upgrade huh?

LOL, even more video game-elitism. There are few things in life that crack me up as much as that. Many of us play both ET and RTCW but prefer RTCW for various reasons. But, yeah, that's a different thread. No, you probably don't want to face GFU on their favorite maps; much like they don't want to face you on your favorite ET maps. Not a difference in seriousness; a difference in practice.

I'm also enjoying a non-butchered graphics config. I play ET the way it's meant; in RTCW I still have that gawdy GFU config that allows for seeing up to 10 miles away, as well as no shadows to hide in, etc. To be quite blunt, that config hurts my eyes, but without it I'm just a fish-in-a-barrel to those who use it, like GFU. I have vowed to not absurdly tweak ET, as it's just too pretty to mess up.

Yeah, the Mighty Avatar wants blood all right. Problem is that it will be mine He's drinking if I play RTCW in this tournament.

Every now and then I wish I could play Axis Complex,Frostbite or Airstrip 2 like when we had the RTCW S.S. server..that was some fun shit, but Tool is right..Madden 94 was cool on Sega Genisis but I don't play it anymore...pretty soon another game will come out that blows ET away and I'll be there to play it...I'm gonna sample the other flavors, not just stick with vanilla
