Helmet bug??

Postby Weasel Meat » Fri Apr 11, 2003 12:40 pm

Has anyone else ever seen this before?
Every time I saw this guy as an engineer his helmet was white. When he changed classes it looked normal.
Cant figure out why it did this.

ive seen that helmet color before and thought it odd.
on the ss server, some time ago. im pretty sure.
maybe it was the beach...

i never figured out how it was done.

id be worried the enemy would spot my head easier with that bright helmet.

Wow that is interesting. Must agree it would make you a little more visible than standard helmut. Do not think that I would like to stand out that much. Looks like a good target to shoot at though!!

On my server today I noticed that all the axis helmets looked like they were pushed forward so that the back of the helmet was halfway through their head.

prolly just a texture thing. try 32-bit or trilinear filtering. can people make their own skins like unreal?

no, really, ,I didn´t take the name from the drug,, though it´s just a prescription drug for the urinary tract infection treatment., though isometime ago I saw someone on the server using the name so for avoiding misundestandings I added "spain"

Ive had problems before with helmets and it usually seems to be caused by skins that you might have in your main directory.

leave the game alone and if no one messes with the files then all should be fine, its not a bug its call messing with the texture files this is known issue in another game that our clan participtated in , it comes from trying things , bet if you reload the game it will go away
