Re: New BF 1943 trailer
Wow this looks sick, i hope all the old school Bf1942 players are still around when we use to have 30 people on teamspeak going nuts. I miss those days for sure.
Re: New BF 1943 trailer
I'm really psyched about this, but can't decide if I want to go the PS3 route or PC route.

BF on ps3 over pc? come on! I don't really understand how they even comapre, mouse keyboard allows you to do so much more.
Re: New BF 1943 trailer
I agree on the mouse/keyboard thing, of course. But it comes out a few months sooner on the PS3. So, do I wait it out until the PC version comes out? I'm going to have a hard time doing so, knowing that it'll be available on the PS3. THAT'S the dilemma. Well... that and I wonder if my PC can handle it without too much chugging (haven't upgrade anything on it since just prior to BF2's release).

Are you guys really gonna fall for this all over again, 19 diff games in same series, as well as 39 different upgrades, all said and done, you'll spend 600 bucks for a game you'll play 2 time a week
wolf '02 $49.99 25 hours a week for 7 years

Ridiculous Battlefield 1943 Metagame Unlocks New Map
May 29, 2009 at 5:35 AM - Andrew Burnes - 4 Comments
Console gamers must make a combined total of 86 million in-game Battlefield 1943 kills to unlock the Coral Sea map, which they will have paid for when purchasing the download-only game, due for release this Summer:
DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio, today announced that Battlefield 1943 will kick off a worldwide community challenge that, when achieved, will reward players by unlocking a fourth map called Coral Sea. The WWII Coral Sea map will be unlocked when the multiplayer community achieves 43M kills on Xbox Live and the same number on PlayStation®Network. When it ships this summer, Battlefield 1943 will include three maps (Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal, and Wake Island) plus this fourth bonus map, all for $15.
Coral Sea is designed to showcase the intense battle in the skies, offering an all-new Air superiority game mode. The legendary WWII action this map provides will have players dog fighting in this airplanes-only map, proving once again DICE delivers on a first class online vehicle warfare experience better than anyone else! Players will be able to track the progress of their respective console communities at the official website.
