I've been playing this for 2 days straight and I love it! It feels like a beefed-up Tribes. I suggest everyone at least give this a try.
For those of you who own Unreal 2, XMP is a free download that brings team-based multiplayer goodness to the Unreal 2 engine. And if you don't own Unreal 2, you can buy the just-released special edition which comes with XMP included.

beefed up tribes? PASS! Tribes is terrible IMO.

Yeah I've been playing the demo for a while now and am very impressed with it. To me it's like Team Fotress meets Halo done in the Unreal Style with very nice graphics. I've been waiting for Unreal 2 to drop price before I get it and now with this Multiplayer mode included for I think $30 you cant beat that value.
Does anyone know if there are air vehicles and how many players can a server host? Any ECGN servers gonna host this game?

Tribes2 sucks b/c you visit the wrong servers...
Try the Houston Vehicles server for tribes2...
it is amazing...
Think of ecgn admins on a different server...
They ban and kick idiots like our admins do !
And it is also amazing because the automatic custom map download option which means lots of sweet custom maps
also it supports 60 players!!!!

the graphics were a step up from tribes 1 (they should be tribes one came out 4 years before tribes 2) and whats with the controls they are akwardly placed
It's still not anywhere near finished. Each patch introduces more bugs than they even attempt to address.
One thing I can’t get over how extremely dumb the game’s AI is. Non-player characters kept getting stuck to walls, shooting each other, and just letting the other team barge in and take our flag. By the way, the AI was set to full!

Does the Xmp unreal 2 part works with european versions or just USA version?

It works with all versions as far as I know.

ive been playing it to but its to mutch chaos for me. and not so good servers for it. much lag.
