You guys are making a mistake using their drivers. The ones that auto install for XP are the ones to use.

Buliwyf,
I just bought the MX700 today, I was just wondering what driver are you running for it. The logitech driver that comes with the MX700 doesn't allow you to set up configuration profiles for separate apps., do you happen to know of any 3rd party drivers that might let you do so?

sure don't. I use the default XP driver without the bloatware

ask in this forum:

Can you still assign the buttons to do different task with the default drivers?

EDIT: So if I uninstall my MX700 drivers, will it go back to the default ones automaticly?

Note, you can use the logitech drivers without all the other b/s if you know how to:
1. extract all the stuff outta the .exe file (which is just a self-executing zip file)
2. manually install a driver.

I find the newest driver on their site 9.79 improved the accuracy of my mouse, seemed ALOT faster, had to turn down all my settings. (might've increased the sampling rate. Logitech doesn't really tell you what the driver changes are).
