Brown Sugar!! ruined for life

Sun Jan 19, 2003 1:55 pm

Man ,one of my favorite songs of all times was ruined last night on HBO by the artist!

Mc Jagger was doing his chicken dance all over the stage on HBO last night.I was having a great time, when they broke out with "Brown Sugar". Now we all know that jagger is a flaming (will fuck anything)bi-sexual,but he sang the chorus of the song from a gay point of view!

"Brown suga...how comw you dance so good"yeah yeah yeah ..whooo"just like a YOUNG MAN should".....
Not just 1 verse, but all of them.

Now mabey Brown Sugar is not neccesarily a girl or a boy,but COME ON MICK. This used to be my all time favorite till last night.||WTF|| It will take many hours of therapy to erase that terrible image from the songlist in my head.:help:

Still feel they are the greatest band of all time, but I saw them live in 90' and my God they sucked then, and suck even more now......they should just hang it up........their best shit is sooooooo far behind them.

That is precisely why they get little play on any Iceman's top ten list. Haha.

Still remember seeing the Stones in concert in the early 90s. Probably the best concert I ever saw, and they were old then. They have such a long list of hits, I guess only the Beatles had as many. And they were awesome live, except I thought Mic got carried away on some songs with his theatrics.

:)

With almost no change, this could describe Aerosmith (and many other once-great bands). These old, still-going bands mainly put out over-hyped recycled pop. Just throw in a guitar solo for that slight difference.

I cry for the day Metallica falls into this description completely, unless the transformation is already finished and I'm in total denial.:violin:

Yeah the Rolling Stones were good. Also the Red Hot Chilli Peppers were good for a while. I think their early stuff was poor, and the new stuff gets way too much radiotime since its not that good, but the albums they did in the 90's were classic.

True, brown sugar can be a reference to heroin, but in this songs case, maybe not. But who knows now where Mick's heads at. On a related note, we all know Pete Townsend has been up to no good. What's with these aging British rockers?
