Pics and info on Tribes: Vengence, may this game turn out to be everything that T2 was NOT... Say like COMPLETE upon release maybe? Anyway, the pics look exceptional... *drool*

I heard this game is going to be more focused single player actually. In any event, I hope the multiplayer is better than Planetside. I had such HIGH hopes for PS... yet I beta tested it for a while and it really let me down. Sorry, off topic here. Yes. this tribes looks pretty cool, I just hope the multiplayer part of it is robust and not just a rehash of what was been done already.

Too bad about Planetside.. The beta was fun for about 2 weeks, then it was more of the same.

How true you are.... (about PS). I really enjoyed it for a while there in beta. But geesh, did it go downhill fast. Oh well, I am off topic again.

Not really, you could easily see the influence Tribes and Tribes 2 had on Planetside... With one of the head honchos being a former T2 (dick)head it was bound to happen... I was also in the PS beta and also felt let down as time went by... After the initial WOW factor it got rather boring rather quickly.

I will watch T:V closely, I don't mind an expanded single player game, but they better freakin deliver some decent multiplayer gaming or I will be done with the franchise...

It'll never happen. I think those days are long gone. I haven't bought a game in the past 2 years that was complete when it hit the shelves.

Welllll... you could debunk that easily. But I do agree in the spirit in what your saying. The quality of games (PC) have gone down lately (IMHO). And I will also watch this next tribes game with a certain amount of hope. But I won't get my hopes up to high. In all honestly, the best game I have played that I bought lately has been Vice City, and that was ported from the PS2! lol And I am all with you doom on leaving the franchise unless they really wow me with the multiplayer and actually are able to keep me interested. For right now, I await the Exp. pack to BF and SWG (even with vehicles!:( )
