Ah the AS400. A pointer large enough to address the entire universe.

Actually, Win2K is freakin' great for me. I run all games with no problems, and only crashed once in a year. Very surprising for a Microsoft product. Its damn good.

Poll needs more information.

Best OS for what?

AS400 for gaming?...well I guess it would loose the poll. For being a web server...er...it probably would loose that poll too...for running some insurance company's HR...sure...sounds great.

Windows XP for gaming - yah probably wins the poll...for being a webserver...ah no...running some insurance company's HR...hahahahaha

I don't really think a poll like this is answerable without more information :)

When he said best OS, I used the criteria for an OS that I learned in College.

Some of the requirements.

DO NOT CRASH
Protect the kernal memory space.
etc.

The AS400 does this better than the others. *PERIOD*

That is a fact.

I have worked with many different systems over the years and the AS/400 is, by far, the least trouble.

Now the *USERS* on the other hand are a *REAL* pain in the @ss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
