OMG Chacal, I even have them! Time for a class action lawsuit methinks.

Amazingly at this moment I am looking at a "blank" CD, on the spindle, just like the one in the picture! I agree with the lawsuit.

Hmm. Clear plastic CD's..
Sat Feb 07, 2004 6:36 am
um the lawsuit really should be that 48 of the cds had something on them and only 2 were blank

I can see how they made that mistake. I have been trying to use those nice clear CDs, I even took them from my friends when they foolishly were going to throw them out. I thought they looked cooler than the boring silver ones and wouldn't scratch as easily. Since I couldn't get them to work I decided it must be a hardware problem. 3 replacement burners later I have given up trying to burn CDs. Count me in on the class action for morons!

No no no... the clear ones will mirror whatever CD is under it! So if you place a BF 1942 CD underneath it, then put them in the drive, the BF 1942 CD will project itself onto the clear one. Duh! Too bad you need special hardware - I mean - why do you think they only give you two?!
