After the show and tell by the US I don't see how you can oppose force anymore.

Gen. Powell got a lot of press when he was outspoken in the administration for opposing the war. His switching sides in this debate speaks volumes, imo.
Of course, he'll just be labeled a war-monger and be demonized by the very press that had earlier thought he was brilliant and courageous.
It's really too bad that the US had to compromise vital intelligence sources just to appease those who want more evidence (even after they get the evidence they claim they want, they just want more).

Ruci, this thread may not go very far. I think quite a few of us may have gotten fatigued by the last political thread.

Man, I wish it was that trite. Personally the thought of nuclear winter leads me to believe this thread incorporates politics, life, gaming, eating, crapping everything.

I agree that it's a shame we had to show our hand so to speak. However, a lot of people out there (including me) needed some convincing. The evidence he showed was exactly what I needed to see and hear in order to be convinced.
One of the Frenchie leaders was quoted the other day as saying that nothing is worth going to war over. Idealism like that just turns my stomach.
