A place I like to hike the dog in the summer.... Coots Trail... About 8 km of very smooth pavement for roller blading. Some of the *ahem* scenery along the way is very nice :D

Pier 4 Park. Part of the Coots trail for roller-bladers. Hamilton has the largest in-land fresh-water port in the world. Lots of steel-related industries here. There are about 4 large yaught clubs on our side of the 'Bay' (off of Lake Ontario). Notice the beautiful scenery. :D Hamilton, somewhere along the line, was voted by some stats company as having the highest percentage of attractive.... sceneries in Canada.

Some pics of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I can't figure out how to put them all in one post, so bare with me as I do a series.

I've always wondered what Hamilton looked like. Never seen any pictures of it before. How many people live there, similiar to Regina? 200,000?

Tues Falls...one of about 40 falls around the downtown section of Hamilton. The downtown 'bowl' area was carved out in the last couple of ice-ages. There is an 'escarpment', about 200-500 ft high that rings the downtown area. Just up from this falls is 'Scenic lookout' which is a prominatory on the cliff-wall that juts out and lets you see for miles and miles around. Very cool. Tues falls is about 300' straight down--the ice makes it look much less. Great for ice-climbing if that's your thing. Not without hazards. I was down in the base of the ravine one day when a section of the ice wall came down-- pillars of ice the size of rail-way car grain-cars came crashing down all around me. Uber Thrill.

Um, yeah, and what's the legal age up there in Canada?

A scene from atop the escarpment looking over the main down-town section of the city. You're seeing about 1/100th of the part of the city that resides below the escarpment.

The main core of the city is about half a million. The 'Greater Hamilton Area'.... is about 3 million.

Siren is flaming me about those girls' ages right now..lol.

Not totally positive, but I believe the legal age in Ontario--not Canada--each province has it's own laws--is 14 with parental consent with someone else deemed a 'minor', ie, someone under 16, who also has to have perental consent.

For adults, I think it's 16 and above. Dunno... except for when I was that age I've never dated anyone that young. :D

Keek.

actually I think the ticats are the worste team in the CFL. They only won one or two games last season, if I remember correctly. But every team has it's bad season, Roughriders have had their fair share lol
