When I was a Boy Scout, one of the assitant scoutmasters in my troup was Phillip Alford. He was the little boy in the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird". He had major roles in several movies in his youth and quit acting in his late teens or early 20s. A few years ago I saw a story in our local newspaper about him opening a sports bar in a small town in Alabama

Good job Wiggum, it is. In fact I have met a few people from Dallas over the years there. When you stand in line for 20 mins for an autograph you might as well meet your neighbors............

I received my commission from Bill Clinton, so I shook his hand, but my only words to him were "Thank you, Mr. President."

My little brother met Joe Gibbs when we were kids. Gibbs' son was playing lacrosse at the same park as one of our little league baseball games.

With any luck I will make the cut to go up there next year. It's sort of a business development boondoggle.

That is pretty awesome. It's one thing to see a famous person, it's a whole other ballgame when a famous person recognizes you, and in public no less!!

I drank beers and jammed with Duff from GNR after the band split. He was doing a side project, and ended up in the same studio I was at here in Seattle.
He gave me a bunch of purple GNR guitar picks which was cool because they are one of my favorite bands.

I went skiing with Clint Eastwood about 8 years ago or so at Whistler. A buddy of mine met him and he asked if we wanted to join his group down the mountain. He's a very down to earth guy.
