Allister - I like the rest of your post, but the part quoted above gives me a bit of pause. This is something I've been hearing a lot lately which doesn't really make much sense. While people have been trying ever since to prove otherwise, by most accounts (even in the highest levels of the Department of Defense) there is little to no evidence to link Iraq to 9/11. We were attacked on 9/11 by Afghanistan and OBL. People seem to be forgetting this a lot lately. While the possibility is not completely inplausable, no one can yet prove ties between OBL and Saddam. That doesn't mean he's not a horrible individual or that we shoudn't be taking actions against him - just make sure our facts are correct.

Just because the info is not presented in a courtroom fashion does not mean it does not exist. 9/11 simply woke everyone up as to how real this can get and what a threat that a maniac with chemical and or anyother weapon of mass destuction poses. Hello Bayotanzk,

I used to live in Baton Rouge, La. for a couple of years, I was born and raised in New Orleans, well, Kenner to be exact.

But to get back to your post, Baton Rouge has many good looking women, (very young and nieve women:D ), thanks to the State University there.

I live in Orlando, Florida now, and I must say, it's not bad over here either, especially at the mall in mid summer, babes wearing their bikini tops to the mall all the time.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi as I don't hear from people from my old home much.

No - just saying that there is little to no evidence to support it, so it really can't be used as a valid reason to go to war. People think that I'm extremely left on war (ie I don't think war is ever right), but that's really not the case. I just don't support rushing in to it, and if given the choice, I'd prefer to exhaust the other possibilities (and I'm not trying to say that the rest of you are "pro-war").

Look, I'm spouting my _ideal_ way that this would play out. It's a bit on the idealistic side, a bit "why can't we all just get along", and a bit wishful thinking. I realize that the real world is magnitudes more complex, but I have to keep optimistic and toe my line in hopes that I can help advance it.

OK, now I'm starting to sound corny for sure. Anyway, that's my way of looking at it.

Innocent people have been dying in that country for years now, but no one thinks of them, (see a previous post that I posted here and visit that website). I bet you would have a different opinion if you lived in iraq (oh, im sorry, you would not be allowed to have an opinion.) Just something to think about.

No, strangely enough, ever since I moved to Florida, people always ask me if I am from New York or New Jersey (I've never been to either). I get asked that question at least once a day and I've been here about 7 years now.

My wife is Creole, very beautiful, but does not have the accent either, her grandparents still have it though.
