Thought so...
I knew you'd have a setup like that...gamma way up, too? I noticed there were no shadows...so you could see people "hiding" in the shadows.
Do you get kicked from PB enabled servers? PB allows admins to kick people with too high a gamma or any non-standard graphics settings.

I have a cfg file that really brightens everything, but my gamma on the game is at it's highest, but it still is in regulations. Sometimes, I put the brightness on my monitor way up too.
I agree...
I have to agree with Tool. I know the settings give you an advantage in certain circumstances, but man...that's like not using my air conditioner in my car during the hottest day in the summer because I know my car gets (slightly) better gas mileage.
I know Mike's a serious player (and his game-play shows that) so this isn't an attack on him. I just think there's a fine line between being competitive and taking all the fun out of the game.
I've played with PunkBuster on the server-end, and I know there are settings that can disallow almost any setting. http://www.evenbalance.com even lists an acceptable range of settings for players as a guideline. Obviously, there is a hotly-contended amount of gray-area in regards to "acceptable" settings, but their bootom-line is letting players compete on an even playing field.
Still, something tells me Mike would kick serious ass even with a 14" monitor running 320X160 at 16 colors. You rule, man.

It's not that bad really, here's some other pics of it on Base. You'll see where I'm coming from hopefully. It doesn't really take that much away from the game. But, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I don't have an i-mac:) but I have an AMD Athlon 1200 Mhz, geforce 2 mx400 and a 19gig harddrive...that's about it though...although you're right, I do go for the most fps.
