NTFS or FAT32?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Which filesystem is better?

Well at work I prefer to use fat32 with xp cause of the over 1000 PC's I manage. And its easier to recover files from fat32 than ntfs. Altho if you prefer file security and the supposedly increased performance then pick ntfs, but recovering data from a crashed non-booting os isnt as easy. for a server I'd recommend ntfs cause of the file security, for a desktop its your choice, both have pros and cons to them.

That's about the only good thing going for FAT32 IMO, and that's b/c of lessened file security, so it's a big tradeoff. Also, there are util's that use simple linux o/s's to recover ntfs stuff, since linux can read ntfs (and you can hack admin passwords, etc.)

NTFS. For bypassing security, boot with a Knoppix CD.
