Osama cornered?

Postby PudriK » Sun Feb 22, 2004 1:07 pm

Several foreign news web sites, including Xinhuanet are reporting that we have Osama Bin Laden trapped in a small region of Pakistan. Checked google news, doesn't look like any domestic news agencies are reporting it, though...

I saw the Sunday Telegraph link on Drudge. One thing that is suspicious about that story though is that it bases its report on a report in a British newspaper, the Sunday Express I think. It could be just a rumor being magnified through repetition, but let's hope not.

From reading closer, it looks like it all started with a London tabloid, and the foreign news is running with it.

Writing about this in the news is just some :tard: s way of filling a page on a slow day. If it was true the reporter should have many painful things done to him/her for revealing information that tipped off an enemy and may have prevented the real event. Or maybe our alleged "inteligence" agencies have no clue and want to say they are close and see if any sudden movements of terriorists are spotted on satelite.

Bin Laden hiding in a Bush! The combination of the two could make even the toughest men cry.
