hmmm...Gmail...think CNN would actually post an april fool's joke like this?

i can't decide whether it's real or just a joke. 1 GB of space is HUGE, 100 MB would seem more realistic.

I saw it yesterday too. That's a lot of space. I hope it forces yahoo to give me more free space because I'd rather do that then change my e-mail address. I think they only give you 4 MB now, but I got my long enough ago to get grandfathered in with 6MB.

No, they are different. Google is more popularity based and is far superior IMO. Haven't used yahoo search for years and if you reall get a gig with Gmail I think I might switch to them.

It Jeffro's defense, Yahoo decided to contract with Google, and use the same results that you can get with google. The reason why they did this, is because they realized Google is far superior as far as search engines.

Well im on comcast and i get plenty of storage. If googles willing to give up 1gig for every customer for free they can have fun. Id like to see their budget after about a day, plus who needs a gig of storage?!?! If you have that many friends, why are you playing battlefield
