I don't know the exact details of the purchase but he doesn't know enough about what's good/bad to have asked for that card. That being said, I'm sure the store recommended it and he didn't have enough knowledge at the time to know better.Originally posted by shockwave203
Did that store actually suggest to your friend to buy the 5600XT? One of my friends has the exact same system as I do (even down to the memory type) except he has a 2.6 instead of my 2.4, and a 5600XT. we both ran 3dmark03. He scored 2100, while I scored 5200. very crappy card, but I'm glad he can return it.
