I know they're two different stations, but I love how the video clip says all three were injuried and remain in serious condition, while the other report says two walked away from the crash while the third was "trapped for a few minutes." Ahhh, local news...

The chopper had been covering a shooting in Brooklyn for WNBC-TV on Tuesday when it clipped a four-story building, broke apart and crash landed on the roof of a two-story dwelling.

Im wondering why he felt the necessity to be so low in that area? He prolly didnt pay attention clearly to all the different level buildings in the area and as he turned the tail rotor to move he hit the 4-story building which spun his ass outta control...This might be a blame towards the pilot for flying at a extreme low-altitude..but hope they get better...I have many Helo Crash stories, even from my dad..

I like the guy at the end hanging around the chopper, I think he was trying to nick the stereo.

If you see the whole video and watched the news he was at a much higher altitude where the law permits. From take off he reported back that he was having problems, later going into a tail spin. Find the whole video and watch. I think he's a damn good pilot and probably saved everyones life in the helo. It looks bad but he was actually in a worse spin earlier.

That happened about two miles from me and where my brother's fire company is located, Engine 281. It is a good thing they all walked away uninjured.

But to land in Flatbush, and walk away from the crash, doesn't guarantee that you're completely 'safe'. LOL
