NHL Playoffs- Final Four

Postby Conscious* » Wed May 05, 2004 2:06 pm

Now that all the teams have played through two rounds, who do you think will win Lord Stanley's Cup? Please pick who you think will win, not who you want to win.

Im picking the Flyers, although they are by far my favorite team, no other team left is nearly as deep as them. With 3 dominant lines, and solid defense along with a good goalie, i think our time has come.

Philly all the way, baby. You guys should have heard the cheers in South Philly when we won in overtime last night. (I live on South Street :) ).

My pick of course would be Tampa... its the only chance that the blues will have the name St. Louis on the cup. Even if he is french-canadian.

Calgary would be nice to see win too. The smaller market teams need something like that, especially if there is a lockout next season. :(

Should have been Ottawa...but I digress.

I want Calgary to win, but think that it will be a Tampa vs. San Jose final with Tampa winning in 5 games.

My poor Sens!

P.S. At least the Flyers knocked out the Leafs last night WHO I HATE!!!

Uh.. Flyers of course. (avatar).
Right on RCinator! JR is unbelievable!
Ahhh Calgary just won the cup in '89. They can wait a little longer although I like them too.
Would love to see a Flyers vs Flames cup final!
Tommy Boy thanks for the praise (although minor), we here in Philly hate the Laffs just as much. I admit I am a little nervous since Tampa swept the Flyers during the regular season but as they say "playoffs are a new season".

Tampa will probably win. They have Martin St.-Louis, Vincent Lecavalier(2 french-canadians like me!), Brad Richards and Nikolai Khabibulin, all great players. Sharks have good chances too, Nabokov is incredible.

It's all about the Flyers. They have overcome so much this season and I think it has helped them mature as a team to the point that tehy can win it all. All you have to look at is the drive that kept Kapanen going after that monster hit. If he hadn't gotten up, the play would have stopped and the goal wouldn't have happened. This is just one example of the heart the Flyers have this year and how it will win them the Stanley Cup.

Rofl you think Tampa is good with 3 players and goalie? How about this...
Jeremy Roenick, Tony Amonte, Micheal Handzus, Keith Primeau, John Leclair, Simon Gagne, Mark Recchi, Sami Kapanen, Alezi Zhamnov, Robert Esche.
