Ok I read enough from that thread to see that the justification of the ban was completely ridiculous. Wrist is one of the most dependable guys in the air I've ever played with. Also, when you're one of the few people flying a plane on a large server, there's always going to be an overflow of air support requests that are nearly impossible to respond to.

In team FHA's defense, with the exception of the guy who has pulled this kind of thing twice, they seem like great guys. And again, I say, why bother playing anywhere other than ECGN?

Hell, I'll spending 20-30 minutes clicking refresh just to try and get into the server some nights.

*sidenote* Kurith is a tking smacker. I always see him OMFGWTFPWN'ing team members.

I played on FHA's server for a long time as one of their 'top players'. I participated in both scrimmages, pushing the 2nd one to happen. Now I will never set foot on FHA's game servers again. They have some really great guys on FHA but they look the other way too often (or just agree with the behavior of a few). My advice, for what its worth, is to wash your hands of all of this because its too much like a high school clique.

That is so NOT me. That is my stunt double, for I never appear out in public looking like that. My stunt double is obviously not as hot as me. Besides, those pictures were obviously air brushed by all of the haters out there who are jealous of my sexiness. (see the growing gut on my double? Diet time)

Almost every single HOT person you will see is someone that played on FHA almost exclusively and was dominant there. You even know a couple of them. You'll probably see us on your server a bit more often if I can keep the grabby hands off of me.

Well said Xenius. If it was just one of the occasional players with the poor attitude, it probably wouldn't be a big deal, but when it's one of the few that runs the whole show, it reflects poorly on the rest of the team, even if it shouldn't.

And Lashton, perhaps you'll stop by the ECGN server sometime? Just show your face enough (ugly as it is ) and the regs will surely make you feel at home (except you'll finally be off that damn island!).

I do feel bad for JC and some (actually most) of the others. They were good guys to play against, and while I personally found some of their server rules a little creative, I was totally cool to play by them. Until now, that is.

This isn't some random smacker that was visiting their server, it was Rule, one of the most dedicated team players and talented flyers I've ever had the privilege to play with. It sounds to me like their admin's biggest beef was that Rule didn't hop on teamspeak and take orders.

We're all free to make our own choices. FHA chooses to support a self-centred egomaniac who wields his admin powers like a weapon. That's fine. I choose not to play against FHA anymore.

I'm sure that still others will want to keep the scrims going, and that's their choice.

I don't remember what I said in the last thread on the subject, but whatever it was, I was holding back a bit. I don't really see the need now, so here goes:

I think in general they are good guys and the scrimmage I took part in was fun. Having said that they have at least two among them who are completely ridiculous. The first, of course, being Aragorn/Elusive; the second being the guy who whined about planes coming at his AA at angles that made it hard for him to shoot them down.

It's his server so he can do what he wants, but I can't imagine anyone enjoying playing there. Their "rules" are the definition of arbitrary. It's the difference between the rule of law and the rule of men or, in this case, one man. I mean he crafts some argument that Rule should have been shooting down planes in round 1 and then cries when he shoots down a plane in round 3. Am I missing something here? The real highlight is that the best he can come up with to support the ban is an ECGN rule.

The wonder is how they could ever maintain a community of any size over there. What's in it for the other guys? For that matter what's in it for Aragorn/Elusive that would be worth paying for a server?

As I mentioned, I really enjoyed the scrimmage. It'll be a shame if they don't happen anymore, but we have pretty good rounds nightly, and the BOTRs every now and then, so I think we'll manage.

As you probably know Rule, the only reason you were banned from Wake was because you killed aragorn. It had nothing to do with your piloting methods, he just likes to dribble on about nonsense to try to substantiate his bans (fighters shouldn't kill bombers? Absurd!) . Had you not killed him, you would have been able to continue playing. I have killed aragorn more often than any other player on the wake server, and like wise have been kicked/banned more often than I can count. Aragorn tries to establish a cause / effect relationship with those players he considers superior to him ...today you kill me I ban you, tomorrow you come back I bet you won't kill me again. It is no more than this.

I have seen aragorn fly around Wake in his little airplane as if he is Air force 1, everyone is too scared to shoot him down. He created this effect on purpose. He doesn't admit it but his numbers are paramount to his adminning integrity, and he will always exchange his honor for an improved KDR. Indeed, he is no more than a grown up child.

And don't bother trying to rationalize with him, when his dribble becomes so outrageous as to shed light on his 8 year old perverted mentality, his #1 henchman DocG simply pulls out his little yellow crayon, adds some silly remarks indicating FHA is right, or more accurately, what FHA does is always right (because they have the power), and then he closes the thread as if his last word was nothing more than a big pile of donkey manure. Now that I think of it, DocG's remarks remind me of the last remarks on Jerry Springer.

My advice is to avoid them.
