Heres a transcript taken from a series of screenies. A former semi-regular named Struckdown was being racist and was banned. Fair enough. His friend, Redrum, politely tries to get his friend unbanned, but instead is insulted and kicked by a group of admins that seem to get too much pleasure from kicking this peon.

Now, am I crazy, or was Redrum being completely polite? If his chatting was irritating, thats what the !mute feature is for. Its little wonder why I never see them on ecgn anymore.
I can also post the transcript of what Ticks and Leeches was saying to me in a 1 on 1 conversation in SPEC CHAT that got him banned for the reason of "respect the server/admins". I guess I missed the memo where we were required to respect admins, and complaints/1 on 1 convo's were grounds for multiple bans.
I also have dozens of screenshots of different admins talking unprovoked shit to me in /pm's. As in they were getting sick of getting killed, but didn't have the balls to say anything in world chat that would ruin their stand-up reputation. So instead they say it in /m. And then they (pretend) to wonder why I don't like some of them.
Yea, so Savant, go ahead and request for any of the items I listed above, or just other screenies in general. I got plenty.

NoFx, not to keep the stone throwing contest going, but I'm sure youre smart enough to understand that unless you take a screenshot no one will believe that this is the complete and uneditied "script" of what occured that day. Bias on your part can easily be proven and this is in no way authentic. I can very well compose the same exact story but with pieces either added or missing thus changing its tone completely. So unless you can provide hard substantial proof that can even begin to corroborate your claims, shut it.

Very good Upppercut from that perspective it seems harsh and i kinda remember that transaction, any screenies of console? a ban for racism is outta line? Keek mentioned that it would be lifted in a couple days doest seem charitable?
the fact that struckdown came back and was immediately rebanned 2-times because 1rst ban didnt work comes as a shock to you? or would you have let it drift cause he apoligized? my guess is that struckdown would never use a slang term towards any minority face to face for fear of getting knocked-out, just because hes safe in his bedroom shouldnt make him a tough guy.
redrum should have let it drift in my opinion, was being argumentive, but ive seen worse with no kick

Screenshots of public conversations are indeed only half of a potential picture. If I recall correctly I had an ongoing conversation with 'Redrum' in private chat as well. Too, if memory serves correct, we did a name-search on him and his name was used alternately with the other. Which then implies that he might actualy be the other person.
Full bans are not put in place unless circumstances warrent it. If you're seeing someone get banned out of no-where it's because the admins have been doing their homework and tracking the persons name-changes and actions and have finally caught them.
Regarding the Ticks situation, if he wishes to private message me concerning the issue, that's fine. I'm not going to publicly clean laundry for everyone to drool over. That isn't appropriate. I, and several other admins, did feel that a full ban was warrented, regardless. We have some basic rules about tk'ing, bleeding, being racist and such which arn't hard to understand. Being racist gets you instantly banned, the tk'ing and bleeding will get you banned if you show yourself to be a blatant repeat offender. We don't need them at the server.

I only cringe at my use of 'fucken'. Though I was likely extremely annoyed (racism gets me going fast), use of extreme language like that, even to immitate the venaculor of one i'm dealing with, isn't appropriate. For this I appologize to the viewing audience in general
One thing not apparent to anyone but admins is that the bot was not working at that time. We couldn't ban people. The bot treated bans as kicks, nothing more. Still, they looked a lot harsher, thus the 'ban' word was used in extreme circumstances. When Man-at-Arms and Boc upgraded the Beach with a hybrid new bot we were busy beavers catching and snagging in the first few weeks some really nasty tards who'd learned about the bot situation.
Y'know.... tards aside, I enjoy playing the game. Lookin' forward to killin' y'all later And it was getting a bit borring in this rtcw forum.... lol
