You are right Aegis, I apologize for accusing you of hacking without providing the evidence. I personally hate it when I am accused, and encourage people to demo me if they feel that something is up.

With that said, I think I owe it to you to dig through my collection of demos (numbering in the 350+ range)...it won't be fun, but I know I have a one where you are trying to gib a body, and your bullets accidentally go off to the side and kill someone (its quite funny). I will be posting this demo, (and others if I can find them) once I sort find it, just give me a day or so max.

Hey, I'm back...didn't take nearly as long as I expected to find something pretty interesting. Here is a short little demo taken 11/1/04 (over 7 months ago). To view the evidence, you must be able to slow it down and watch it in slow motion (osp). I repeat: Don't bother dl'ing it unless you can SLOW it down when Aegis is shooting. You will notice a number of things:

1. His crosshair is very erratic and shots very often hit when they are nowhere near where he is aiming. He also has very little bullet spread considering it looks like hes one of those "hold the fire button down" type of players. Your crosshairs is always aimed at their belt, and very rarely changes in vertical direction. Not sure if you are going for most crotch-shots, but the fact that you like to shoot people's stomach/theighs 100% of the time does not coincide with your "been playing wolf for a long time, I'm that good" excuse.

2. Fast forward to when he is killing the people on the backstairs at 14:20 in the demo. He kills NeoNazi and as he is gibbing Neo's body, he also kills Kryosis when his crosshairs isn't really on him. This isn't the incident I was talking about in the above post, but I think I have another demo that showed this better. In this case, the evidence is inconclusive because it could be ID's imprecise hitboxes, you be the judge.

3. Now heres something that is obviously fishy: At 14:25 in the demo (right after killing Neonazi and Kryosis) he kills Lucio. Aegis, would you mind explaining how you did that awesome move where your crosshair doesn't move, but Lucio dies AROUND a corner (again, slow it down to ~0.3 speed and you will laugh)? I know theres a thing called lag, but as far as I remember, you are still required to move your crosshairs, and it never allowed you go around corners. In fact, with a 190 ping, you would be leading with your crosshairs, and surely your bullets wouldn't be flying to your right and hitting targets when you never even move your crosshairs.

This isn't the first, nor the last demo I've taken of you, but it is the smallest that illustrates some of the key points. I actually don't even remember recording this specific demo, I just know I have spectated enough fishy kills (like your Lucio kill) to know that something is up. It has nothing to do with 'aiming early because of ping/lag'; it has nothing to do with common tricks that any semi-experienced player know. Please don't try to pass it off as such.

I have to ask you a question:

Hmm, I cant still get that working, after loading OSP mod, console is full of errors, and no control for demo playback works.
For now It's getting late here,
I will assume an attitude to Nofx evidence of my supposed cheating activity tommorow ca. 11am EST.
Good night

Here Aegis, since you are having difficulty with installing OSP, I'll post the screenshots to make it easier for you. Here is a bullet by bullet account of your kill on Lucio, starting at a full clip (bullet 30) and for the next 6 bullets down to bullet 24 (yes, being currently unemployed gives me spare time :P)

So here goes:

Bullet 30 (full clip): http://tinypic.com/5ozej9
Your crosshair is on the deadbodies/Lucio's ankles, nothing strange.
----------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 29: http://tinypic.com/5ozel3
Your crosshairs is on Lucio's crotch, nothing strange.
------------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 28: http://tinypic.com/5ozepf
Same as above, still nothing strange
----------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 27: http://tinypic.com/5ozer5
Lucio starts to move, your crosshairs does not move. Nothing strange.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 26: http://tinypic.com/5ozes9
Lucio is out of the way, your crosshairs still remains in the same place as all the above screenshots. Yet somehow Lucio is stil being hit. Hmmm.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 25: http://tinypic.com/5ozewk
Ok this one's got me. Lucio is not even in your screen, he made it past the doorway and should be ok. Your crosshairs still has not moved one bit. Yet somehow this bullet still hits Lucio. How very odd.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Bullet 24 (killing shot): http://tinypic.com/5ozexl
This shot kills Lucio. He made it past the doorway in the previous shot, yet the last two shots still hit him? And it can't possibly be because of your ping, because the trail of bullets follow him as he moves right, while your crosshairs stays in the EXACT same position the whole time.

So care to explain how you hit a moving target that wasn't even on your screen, without moving your crosshairs?

Aegis, with people like Nofx on here proving you wrong just give up. You've been banned, go find another server to hack on. It seems obvious you will be proven wrong time and time again. Have fun. GG

Yes, this is an important difference. Thanks for pointing it out. IP ban would be the big badda boom!

Id like to think of it as nothin personal, its just that key is banned based off what we've seen. If its not he guy, i dont care...the key is banned.

nice pics btw but just to ask a question, dont the bullets stray away from the cursor after a few shots?

Yes but they don't stray round corners.

Seriously though I get killed loads of times after running round the corner something to do with the antilag. That's probably what's going on their except that aegis is supposed to be the laggy one not lucio :)
