I also try to get all headshots. I miss a lot, and usually get accuracy in the 50% range I'm not the best shot anyway

Stop being such as Hater as you will die young in life with no friends to attend your funeral.
Squirming back and forth on that table has done MUCH help for Axis defense. There have been many MANY games where I and other snipers have single handedly shut down the upper bunker ladder route for the allies. In other words, one sniper on the table can shut off 33 percent of allied offensive routes leaving the other 25+ team member free to defend the rest.
In summary, a good Axis sniper can shut off a third of allied offense
A good allied sniper can gain upper bunker dominance for team early not to mention bleed or kill an entire axis team on upper bunker in a matter of a few second...giving a HUGE advantage to allies.
snipers are valuable..nuff said.

Sorry Renderman, but I disagree. If an Axis sniper was having success sniping the ladder without the Axis holding the Upper Base, he is always easy to get. He is the easiest person in the world to kill with a grenade. If he persists, then the posion needle comes in handy. I seem to remember Level 3 admin I could kill alot like that, but I forget his name...

Ok I will admit the poison dudes are a pain but handling the grenade guys isn't too hard as long as other team members aren't blocking the upper spawn doorway when I run off the table. ONly time when grenade guys are an issue is when they time their charge to detonate right after throwing and that isnt too common i nmy experience
If other team members are protecting the murder hole route then the poisoner isnt as much as an issue either.
Granted snipers still need some upper bunker defense also but when a good sniper has ladder covered all the team really needs is a few axis to cover upper bunker doorway and to gib the allies killed by sniper. I have seen this setup manyt times and it wprks perfectly.
I guess we can agree to disagree but all of this sniper bashing on the server as well as the orwellian/draconian/neo-fascist mauser limit is uncalled for as we are a valuable asset to both teams. give us some lovin once and a while

ahh yeah sure your helping your team out.....................here's a little clue for yeah, no one anyone defends murder hole, and bearly any axis come up from basement, so if you time it right, and don't hit spawn I can run up the ladder with my nade primed and bamn no more sniper, not just once but at least every other time, and u being that great team player once again, to camp on that table, to keep shooting that point on ladder, eventually the whole team figures it out, and we then all go that way, and u of course because team play is sooooooooooooooo important to u, u STILL camp there!!!!! lol the jokes on you 100% ACC.......

So then at least you admit a good axis sniper can dominate 33 percent of allie's offensive route. Don't blame me or other snipers if you come up murder hole route or upper bunker doorway route. We do OUR part and 33 percent isnt too bad for one or two people in a team of 22.
NOT a team player???? please. If ONE person, as you BLATANTLY admit here, can completely ALTER the allied offensive strategy and FORCE them to choose an alternate route, then that ONE person givens the rest of the team a POTENTIAL opportunity to take ADVANTAGE of it.
If ONE sniper -and their are many of such calibre on the server- can achieve this , then he or she is DEFENITLEY a valuable asset to the team and a STRONG team-orientated player.
Your logic and sniper bashing is incomprehensible. No other class of axis wolf player can dominate 33 percent of allied offense single handedly. No medic. No flamer, no panzer, nothing

not bashing, but just stating a fact that camping on the table all game is not team work, and snipers are as useless as a sten, but hey thats good for a walking stick
Tue Jul 26, 2005 12:30 am
results speak for themselves and if I or others didn't get the results(axis win records and acc marks) we wouldn't do it all the time
I will enjoy my 100 percenters and look forward to future ones with your assistance -just keep using the ladder route)
\peace
