there were too many maps in the rotation...if u started out w/ 1 extra map besides beach .......the beach bums might have tried to learn 1 new map..
like say depot
depot is good map for a large server

mmmmm beach...... everytime a rotation starts, people leave. People here want to play beach, if they want depot they play at HP, if they want rotation, they goto other places...

Do Blitzkrieg Forest as an alternate. It's vanilla and it plays well with the large numbers.
It rules, and it leads to massive scale pitched battles at 3 different choke points. Tram does too but it's not vanilla so you probably lose people.

Bollocks, a good 70 percent of people loved the rotation it's just that the 30 percent who didn't were particularly whiny in a little schoolgirl fashion...

Too bad that ECGN stopped the map rotation. I liked the ideo of occassionally playing other maps then beach.... Beach is cool but if you play that map nearly daily it can get boring after a while.
